Adaptive Art

More Fun in the Art Room!

Following Directions
This week we worked on following directions with the ASD students.  We created monsters; starting with ovals for the bodies, circles for the heads and rectangles for the arms and legs.  We cut ovals for the hands and feet.  When our monster's bodies were put together students had the opportunity to add details to make them their own.

Sensory
We do a lot of sensory activities in Adaptive Art.  This week we used baby oil, water colors and water to learn how to create a marbled effect on paper.
